Kids & Babies: Pages 81-91
From cards to scrapbooks, these are the moments most commemorated in our lives. One of the first scrapbooks I made was a gift for my Mother In Law of her children growing up. It's been so fun over the years to watch the new generation looking back at their dads when they were young. With this new catalog, Stampin' Up!® is releasing a whole new range of products to capture this special time.
Twinkle Twinkle PG. 82-83
I tell my daughter every night "I love you more than all the stars in the universe." That alone made me nearly cry at the sweet simplicity of this suite. As I continued looking over the stamp set, I realized this was so much more than a baby set; it's a wedding card; congrats for getting a part in a play or movie, etc. There are so many ways to use this suite, that I actually have the entire thing on my wish list.
Sweet Baby Bundle PG. 89
For those of you whom were (like me) devastated at the retirement of the Moon Baby Stamp Set, please allow me to introduce you to the Sweet Baby Stamp Set. These images are full of joy and happiness, and full of bouncing baby joy. And what's more? This stamp set comes as a bundle with the Bouncing Baby Dies! I love this set, and c'mon, how about the twins card? Two Cute!
Little Elephant Bundle PG. 91
Elephants have always had significance in my family. My Great Grammy had a collection, which my parents were responsible for starting. By the time she passed, there was quite the assortment of different elephants. Elephants are also a symbol of good luck, which makes it a wonderful mascot for any occasion. The bundle pairs the stamp set with the Elephant Builder Punch, allowing for the ears you see in the samples pictured.
Pretty much everything about the Fastened With Love Stamp Set screams cuteness. I love the blocks and the ability to add the animals to either the safety pin or the block, or just have them hang out on their own! While this set may not have the versatility some of the other baby sets have, it is going to be one of my go-to sets for all things baby!
First thing that popped into my head: Lunchbox Notes. Followed quickly by birthday invitations. And then immediately New Home cards. And then, of course, that I absolutely had to have it!
As an added bonus, it coordinates with the Up & Away Thinlits to create clouds, or bushy parts of trees. Honestly, I'm just excited to build some really fun scenes with all of the amazing elements.
