Everyday Occasions: Pages 12-65
New catalog time is full of excitement, but it can also be overwhelming! As crafters we have a tendency to want it all. And while it's completely normal, it can lead to hoarding as well as a crowded craft space.
I decided to do a Catalog Walkthrough series exploring each section of the new catty. I'll take you through the pages, expand on my favorites, and point out some things you may have overlooked. First up is the Everyday Occasions section.
Tea Room Suite PG. 14-15
Product Suites are great for crafters, because you can satisfy your "want it all" craving and have plenty of materials to create! This particular suite begins with the Time for Tea Bundle, adds in a stunning selection of DSP (specialty, thin sheets) & cardstock. It also includes ribbon, stickers and even a tin for notecards!
The suite also features a Memories & More card pack. If you noticed the beautiful butterfly in the samples on page 12, you'll only find it in this card pack. The "Life is better with you" sentiment on the tea tin is also from here.
Pro Tip: If you haven't ordered a Memories & More card pack yet, make sure you add one to your next order. Each pack comes with cards, sure. But they have additional accessories, from stickers and die cut shapes to card overlays. These are one of the best values in the catalog.
Animal Expedition Suite PG. 26-27
Guys, I actually squeed out loud when I saw this suite. I mean, how freaking cute are these animals? And they're on the DSP too! But the most WOW item here? The Leaf Ribbon! All of these items will be finding a home in my craft room, and I can't wait to start playing!
There are so many amazing pieces to this product suite, it's easy to get overwhelmed. The bundle pairs a set full of beautiful sentiments and borders with the Detailed Trio Punch. Those who have been missing the corner rounder punch will be delighted to see this new addition which includes three corner punches in one!
Next up are the faceted dots which come in Basic Black, Blackberry Bliss, Grapefruit Grove, and Mint Macaron :::swoon::: The Polka Dot Ribbon is available in both Very Vanilla and Whisper White, but can be colored with either Ink Refills or Stampin' Blends to have any color in our lineup!
Now, there is no traditional DSP in this suite, but there are some incredible options when it comes to paper. First is the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut DSP which features a full sheet of spectacular floral cuts and a sheet of frames and layers with a border. The pack gives you four of each design. Also available are the Delightfully Detailed Note Cards and envelopes which are printed with watercolor design in Mint Macaron and Blackberry Bliss. Rounding out the suite is another Memories & More Card Pack which allows for endless creativity!

Best Route Suite PG. 52-53
This suite is a true show stopper. I love the color combination of these all new colors; Blueberry Bushel, Gray Granite, and Mango Melody. As I flipped through the catalog, even my husband (who shows no interest in crafting) commented on this suite! Immediately, I began having visions of travel scrapbook pages.
My main challenge with this suite will be creating something other than layouts! After all, I'll be going on a road trip at the end of the month, and what's better than capturing the memories to pass down to my daughter?
A few other projects which come to mind are graduation cards, retirement, and encouragement cards. The stamp set is pretty versatile, even if at first glance it seems to be one note. Each other component in this suite can be used in various projects, the enamel shapes are so much fun and the washi tape is amazing. The Memories & More Card Pack is full of bold patterns and fun phrases to expand the possibilities far beyond first glance.

Stitched All Around PG. 17
Oh Darling, this is fabulous! Taken seperately, the stamp set & framelits would both be on my Must Have List. Once combined, they are perfection. Considering the Stitched Shapes Framelits are my #1 most-used craft tool, the chance to expand on it is amazing. If you're a Paper Pumpkin subscriber, you may recognize once of the new die shapes from the 5th Anniversary box!
This bundle is a great scene builder with multiple styles. The stamp set provides wrought iron bench which has a romantic feel to it, while the coordinating Pretty Park Framelits have a wooden bench for a more relaxed style. The animals (bulldog, squirrel, and bird) are each two-step stamps, providing a colored in look without the time commitment. In the stamp set, you have a brick stamp, where in the framelits you'll find a cobblestone embossing die. Mix and match these pieces for a different look every time!
The petite treat framelits dies create the perfect holder for all things sweet! I love the variety offered for the tops of each holder, as displayed in the photo. This bundle pairs with the Treat Time stamp set which has a great variety of phrases for gifts or party favors. If you enjoy giving out treats, this bundle is a must have!
Calling all realtors! This bundle is the perfect set to give your clients to welcome them to their new homes. If you're not a realtor, you can still welcome people to the neighborhood in a memorable way. The pop-up feature makes this set a great addition to any craft room, as making pop up cards immediately makes people think you're a wizard. And who doesn't like to be thought of as magical?
While this isn't technically listed as a bundle, it does include a stamp set and punch, so I'm adding it to the list! This is a bit of a hybrid of a project kit and a bundle, as it has more than just a stamp set and cutting apparatus, yet while there are ink spots and a stamping block included, there is no cardstock or paper materials.
The stamp stet is quite cute and this punch certainly lives up to it's name, as it is simply darling. The beautiful tin which holds all the goodies inside is divine, and is large enough to add a 6x6 pack of DSP and some card bases to have a to-go crafting tin!
This incredible bundle was inspired by Million Sales Achiever Mary Fish. It features 34 Photopolymer Stamps to create endless combinations of vases and flower arrangements. The bundle pairs it with the Vases Builder Punch to easily create 3-D elements on your projects.
If I had the patience to dip into the home decor crafting arena, I would snap this bundle up in an instant. I mean, how stinkin' cute is this wall hanger? And it would really make an epic paper wreath as well! It turns out I'm not so patient for all that jazz, but I love the potential for cute cards and fun popped up flowers on some scrapbook layouts!
:::swoon::: So this stunning bundle was an instant favorite on my list. I've had a thing for Dream Catchers since I was a child so you can imagine how stoked I was to see them included in the new catty! All early indicators suggest this will be a massive hit with demonstrators and customers alike!
This set caught my eye for two reasons. The first is that it pairs so beautifully with the Tailored Tag Punch. The second was the coloring opportunities. Watercolor, Stampin' Blends, and Bleach are what I've tried so far and I'm IN LOVE! I've even designed a class around this in July.
I happen to think this is a sleeper set. I'm a big fan of sending "thinking of you" cards. After all, the card I've held onto the longest was sent to me by my mother in a time when I was feeling low. These are the cards which mean the most, and the sentiments in this set are perfect for that. The frames are great for all kinds of cards and can be mixed and matched with anything. The sentiments are easily paired as well. If this set isn't on your list, it should be!
The ultimate stamp set to have in your stash, Itty Bitty Greetings has something for every occasion. Every crafter needs a set like this, and if you missed out on Teeny Tiny Wishes before it retired, now is the time to act!
The last set I absolutely adored in this section is Postcard Pals. These animals are so stinkin' cute that just about anyone would be happy to get on of their smiling faces in the mail! While there are a number of stunning sets in the Everyday Occasions section, the animals will always be at the top of my take home list.
Whew! That what what I call a marathon post! Thanks for sticking with me as we went through the Everyday Occasions section of the Annual. Be sure check out the next installment: Birthday. In the meantime, head down to the comments and let me know which of the above items is your favorite, or let me know if I missed something at the top of your list!
