Retiring Products Blog Hop
Guys, can you believe April is almost over?!? This means a few things: my birthday month is just around the corner AND we're running out of time to purchase some of the AMAZING retiring catalog goodies! I know, super sad face. To give them a proper sendoff, I'm joining with demonstrators from all over the world in a Retiring Products Blog Hop.
Get ready to get inspired by this epic Retirement Party! And don't forget that you only have until May 31st (or while supplies last) to get your hands on the items we're showcasing!
Buh-Bye Bird Banter
Bird Banter set was one of my absolute favorites (refer back to this post for deets on why) in the Occasions Catalog and it's one I'll be holding on to for personal projects! Here I've combined it with another retiring item (White Organza Ribbon), two carryover items (Petal Pair Embossing Folders and Petal Palette Stamp Set), as well as a sneak peak at some new DSP (Share What You Love Specialty DSP).
This card was for my parent's anniversary, which is very appropriate since my love for birds is their fault!
Mourning Moon Baby
Moon Baby is actually the set which caused me to discover Stampin' Up!® and become a Demonstrator so this is a particularily difficult goodbye for me. BUT, it means I'm finally putting together some scrapbook layouts of my daughter (who, yes, is four in June). I am absolutely over the moon (see what I did there?) about this layout.
I decided to finally break out my embossing paste which I've had for MONTHS and haven't touched! And guys, can I just say how fun and easy it is? I'm in love!
Fun Tip: Keep a bin of water and a sponge on your craft table for immediate rinsing of your masks and palette knives. Makes cleanup a cinch!
Thanks so much for stopping by and seeing my projects. Make sure to stop by the rest of the blogs on the list for even more crafty goodness! Head down to the comments and let me know which Retiring Item(s) you just can't quit!
