Taking You to the Next Level
Welcome back to our Painting with Stamps series. If you weren't here last week, be sure to check out the Intro to Painting with Stamps post before diving into today's class. You can, of course, start here if you want to, just know that I designed these tutorials as a sort of level by level series and this takes you to the proverbial Next Level.
Okay, so now that I've over-explained that, let's begin! Today we're going to build on what we've learned and end our course with an epic Island Sunset.
Mountain Vista Card
This first card today is a good reminder that not every set gets used in the way you would expect. In fact, this card using the Waterfront Stamp Set has no water in it! Here you'll learn to layer your stamps in preparation for our big finish. We're also going to bring some sponge daubers into the mix, so be sure to have those on hand!
Island Sunset Card
Here is our final project, which is incidentally my FAVORITE! This Island Sunset scene brings together everything we've learned and really shows the potential for creation with the Waterfront Stamp Set.
And there we have it folks! You've hung in there until the end and hopefully you're feeling inspired to create your own mini works of art. As always, head down to the comments to ask any lingering questions you may have. Happy creating!
