Merit Gets Her Groove Back
Hello, folks! I've stated that it's been a rough start to the year. Then I blinked and realized... you guys, it's MAY! And that realization means one thing: it's time to start living again.
No more allowing stress to dictate my work schedule. This month I am determined to take the reigns back on my life as well as my business. Read on for information on some of the changes you can expect on the blog and some exciting new features as well!
The Birthday Project
As a way to celebrate my birth month, I've decided to add an incentive for being a part of The Birthday Project! Anyone who signs up during the month of May will receive a FREE card. This is regardless of if it's your birthday this month or not. May birthday peeps will get TWO cards this month, one for signing up and the other as a thank you. As always, this is 100% FREE! Your card will come to you without any writing inside (my inscription will be on a removeable piece of paper) so you can send the card on to the next birthday boy or girl you cross paths with!
So, if you haven't already, head on over to The Birthday Project page and sign up (even if you already get a card from me on your birthday!)
NEW 2017-2018 ANNUAL CATALOG FROM STAMPIN' UP!®
One of the best parts of being an Independent Demonstrator with Stampin' Up!® is the perks! This month I got to pre-order from the catalog before it goes live on June 1st. I nabbed one of my favorite new bundles, the fabulous new In Color Inks and a special new product I'm not allowed to talk about just yet! Watch the site on June 1st for an announcement on that, as well as some new projects!
If you want to get your hands on the new In Colors before June 1st, you can order one of two Eastern Palace Bundles. Either bundle comes with 3 inks pads, which are all new In Colors! The other option is to sign up as a Demonstrator and you can order anything off of the pre-order list as part of your sign on bundle!
Meetup Dot Com
If you haven't heard about meetup (dot) com yet, I urge you to check it out. It's like a dating app for friendships! It's free to join; you pop in your interests and location and it lists all sorts of fun activities/classes you can join. Some events are free while others have a fee associated. If you happen to find yourself in need of mom friends outside of the ladies you've met on the playground, it's worth a look!
In my case, I started the Encinitas Papercrafting Meetup, which you can check out here. In under 24 hours I have more than 30 members with 2 new people coming to my event at the end of the month. I've been struggling to find crafty friends, let alone new customers, so I am over the moon excited about this! For the first time since joining Stampin' Up! I am seeing the future, and it's looking pretty bright!
Keep Coming Back For More
Over the next week I will be putting together some posts on new products, as well as some ideas on how to use some of the sets continuing on from the previous catalog, so there's a lot to check back for! I'm looking forward to getting back in the swing of things. What are you hoping to see in the new catalog?
